I/O Hub

ClearPath-IP motors use 2-axis and 4-axis sync hubs to simplify wiring and synchronize motors with sub-200-nanosecond precision. These hubs also make it easy to wire up home sensors, limit switches, and other motion-specific I/O to your ClearPath-IP motors. When upgraded to an I/O-HUB, customers can (in addition to retaining the sync hub functionality) configure the inputs to be general-purpose digital or analog inputs, and gain access to additional features, such as an external encoder input, an analog output, and more. To configure a ClearPath-IP system, customers need to configure both the motor and the I/O Hub.
Used to run diagnostics on a separate computer without disturbing the normal operation of your application code from the host computer.
