24 Volt Power, 2-Pin Molex Cable

Wednesday, August 10th, 2016

Cable used to supply 24 volt logic power to a number of ClearPath devices (e.g., SC4-HUB power, daisy-chained power from SC4-HUB to SC4-HUB, ASU-FR510, power from POWER4-HUB to SC4-HUB, etc.) Can be cut in half to make two shorter cables with flying leads.

Analog Send Unit

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016

Need to use analog control signals? For maximum noise immunity, ClearPath-MC natively uses digital control signals, but this “Analog Send Unit” (ASU) allows you to use analog control signals (0-10V or 4-20mA) while minimizing associated noise issues. The ASU converts analog signals to digital signals compatible with ClearPath-MC, so you won’t have noise corruption. Just locate the ASU as close as possible to your analog source and send the accurately converted digital signals to ClearPath’s optically isolated inputs for high-fidelity control.

Communication Hub for ClearPath-SC Series

Wednesday, August 10th, 2016

Required for ClearPath-SC systems. Provides network connection for up to four axes. Up to four SC hubs can be daisy-chained to create networks of up to 16 axes (per COM port). Automatic brake control outputs are provided (max of two per daisy-chain). One digital input is provided to stop all axes simultaneously.

Controller Cable, 10 ft

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013

This cable connects your digital control signals (from switches, buttons, PLCs, etc.) to your ClearPath motor. The overmolded Molex connector connects to the motor (which allows an IP-65 sealed connection when used with dielectric grease), and the other end can be plugged into a breakout board (or for ClearPath-SC, the SC communication hub), or cut off to create flying leads to allow you to wire into any control device you may use.

Controller Cable, 55 ft

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013

Cable to connect your digital control signals (from switches, buttons, PLCs, etc.) to your ClearPath motor. The 8-pin Molex connector connects to the motor. This cable can be cut to make two cables with a ClearPath connector on one end and flying leads on the other. Can also be used to connect an SC communication hub board to a ClearPath-SC motor, or an ASU-FR510 Analog Send Unit (analog to digital converter) to ClearPath motors and User I/O.

DC Bus Distribution Strip

Thursday, October 26th, 2023

Distributes DC bus power to up to four ClearPath motors. Requires 24-75 VDC bus power supply.

DC Power Cable, ClearPath generic, 55 ft

Tuesday, April 22nd, 2014

Cable used to supply bus power from a DC power supply to a ClearPath motor. It has ClearPath power connectors on both ends, so it is designed to be cut to make two shorter cables or one long cable, with flying leads at one end. See the IPC user manual for connector and mating component part numbers. (Note: this is only a 2-wire cable, so it is not suitable for use as the analog input cable on an ASU-FR510.)

DC Power Cable, IPC (or hub) to ClearPath, 10 ft

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013

Cable used to supply bus power from a DC power supply to a ClearPath motor. The Molex end connects to the ClearPath motor; the Sabre end connects directly to a Teknic IPC-5 or IPC-3 power supply, or to a or POWER4-HUB power distribution hub, but can be cut off if you intend to wire it to another supply.

DC Power Cable, IPC to POWER4-HUB, 6 ft

Friday, August 12th, 2016

Cable used to supply 75 volt bus power from an IPC-5 or IPC-3 to a ClearPath-SC power distribution hub (e.g., POWER-4HUB) or to daisy-chain two power distribution hubs.

DC Power Distribution Hub

Wednesday, August 10th, 2016

Distributes DC bus power to up to four ClearPath motors. Requires 24 volt power to operate (in addition to bus power). The Power Hub also acts as logic power backup for the motors, i.e., the motors will still retain encoder position even with bus power removed (for safety during an E-stop, for example). Upon restoration of bus power, the motors will automatically return to their previous positions, if desired.

DC Power Distribution Hub with Logic Power Backup

Tuesday, October 17th, 2023

Distributes both main (24-75 VDC) and logic power to 1-4 ClearPath motors. When the main bus power is removed (e.g., an E-stop event), the Power Hub provides logic power backup for the connected motors (e.g., the motors will still retain their encoder position and, for ClearPath-SC motors, their communications ability). Upon restoration of bus power, the motors will automatically return to their previous positions, if configured to do so.

DC Power Distribution Strip

Tuesday, October 17th, 2023

Power distribution breakout board that routes main DC bus power (24-75 VDC) to 1-4 ClearPath motors.

I/O Cable, 4-Pin Molex

Wednesday, August 10th, 2016

Cable used to connect an analog input to an ASU-FR510 Analog Send Unit (analog to digital converter). This cable uses 22 AWG wire and so is not suitable for use as a DC power cable for a ClearPath motor.

IP67/66K ClearPath IR Sensor Cover

Tuesday, October 17th, 2023

Optional plastic cover that can be installed on IP67/66K ClearPath servos to protect the Infrared (IR) light sensor on the back of the motor. Note that this cover (installed or not) does not affect the IP motor rating.
