Choose with Confidence

Worried about buying the right motor? Will it have enough power? Will it work as I expect? Use ClearPath's built-in measurement and diagnostic tools to know for sure that you have the right motor. Or contact Teknic and we'll help you choose.

Success Guaranteed

Try ClearPath today. Take up to three months to fully exercise it. If you're not 100% successful and satisfied, just send it back. Even if you've beaten up the motor and thrown away the packaging, you'll still get a full refund.

A Better EtherNet/IP Architecture

Compared to conventional EtherNet/IP systems, ClearPath-IP's innovative architecture uses small synchronizing hubs to link groups of up to four integrated servo motors, giving you several important advantages.

Tighter Synchronization
The motors connected to each 2- or 4-axis sync hub will be synchronized to within 200 nanoseconds of each other without the need for expensive CIP-Motion™ and CIP-Sync™ systems. These synchronizing hubs start at $69 for a two-axis (or $99 for a four-axis) model, and enhanced versions exist for even more functionality.
Fewer IP Addresses
EtherNet/IP PLCs limit the number of IP addresses they allow; if you go over the limit, you'll have to pay for a more expensive PLC. The hub design allows each ClearPath-IP motor to be controlled individually while using only one-quarter as many IP addresses.
Smaller Cabinet Footprint
Because each motor includes its own drive, there's no bulky drive cabinet or cooling required. The small hubs can mount inside or outside the cabinet, saving space and simplifying wiring.
Motor I/O
Built-in motor I/O eliminates breakout boards, with dedicated power and ground for each point. Mounting hubs near the motors cuts cabling further, resulting in a smaller, cooler, lower-cost system with excellent performance.

Closed loop control
All ClearPath motors continuously monitor torque, velocity, and position to correct in real time for load variations.
Power Range
With over 300 different ClearPath-IP models, there's a wide range of power, torque, and speed options to select from. All model types range from 1/8 to 7.7 hp peak.
Precision velocity control
A built-in, high-precision encoder allows for variable speed control (0.001% velocity accuracy).
IP-Sync™ Technology
Through the use of two and four axis sync hubs, users can synchronize motors to within 200 nanoseconds of each other without the need for expensive CIP-Motion and CIP-Sync systems.
Real-time velocity, torque, and status information
Get real-time readouts of your motor's actual velocity and torque usage. Additionally, users can monitor motion status information and verbose warning, alert, and shutdown notifications.
Real-time position measurement
Get a real-time readout of your motor's encoder position at your EtherNet/IP scanner.
Precision position control
Command exact, repeatable motion with tightly controlled positioning performance. Fully compatible with PLCs supporting 1 ms RPIs and above.
Electronic Gearing and Encoder Following
These features allow one or more motors to move at a ratio of the speed and distance of another motor (the master) or a standalone encoder. The ratio can be fixed or updated as desired. This allows you to coordinate the motion of multiple axes with a single motion profile or encoder output.
g-Stop™ Anti-Vibration Technology
Motion profile sculpting based on patented anti-vibration technology allows the fastest possible moves without exciting mechanical resonances in the machine. It's easy to configure, and supports robust operation even as mechanics wear over time. See video demonstration.
